This is a beautifully preserved Fender Jazz Bass made in 1986 at the renowned Fujigen Gakki factory in Japan – well known for their high-quality craftsmanship during this golden MIJ era. It delivers the classic Jazz Bass tone: articulate, punchy, and smooth – great for both stage and studio.

The alder body is paired with a wonderfully resonant Brazilian rosewood veneer fingerboard neck, stamped 2AUG62B. The neck has been refretted for optimal playability while retaining its comfortable, well-broken-in feel. Original Kluson single-line tuners hold tune perfectly, and the original “green-guard” pickguard has aged beautifully.
