Made in England 1974. Very good condition. Combo. Tremolo, 36W.
220V. Hand wired model. 4st. EL 84 tubes. 2x12 Vox silver bulldog
speakers. T 1088, GG3, GG15 (Juli-74.) Black tolex. Black lattice
grillcloth. Double black metal vent louvers. Soon after Dallas Musical
Industries purchased Vox from Birch-Stolec in 1973, Dallas replaced the
printed circuit AC-30 with a hand wired model, as it was made in the
60th.
Unlike the new AC30's that are sold in different budget classes, this
one sounds like the 60's. It has the same sound, bite and precision that
you hear on the 60's and 70's recordings. I think this one sounds just as
good! The speakers are Silver Speakers, reminiscent of the Blue Dog
drivers but with a slightly tighter and more controlled bottom.
